EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed creator Achieng Agutu, one of the co-hosts of Prime Video‘s Influenced.
The agency has signed Agutu for global representation in all areas and will “work to secure opportunities across brand partnerships, digital content, strategic business ventures and more.” She continues to be represented by Digital Brand Architects and ICON PR.
A 2026 Forbes 30 Under 30, Agutu is one of the co-hosts of Influenced, which is produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and focuses on Gen-Z and millennial culture. She worked across a number of eps alongside the likes of Eyal Booker, Tefi Pessoa, Taryn Delanie Smith and Cyrus Veyssi.
Dubbed the “Confidence Queen” by Vogue, Agutu was born in Kenya and is now based in New York and Miami.
She recently had a presence at this year’s Miami Swim Week, highlighted by a new partnership with Sally Hansen and her third year on the runway in Sports Illustrated’s Miami Swim Week show. These appearances built on a growing portfolio of campaigns with brands including SheaMoisture and Victoria’s Secret.
Agutu is a vocal advocate for empowering Black creators and was invited to The White House by Jill Biden and Antony Blinken for its International Women of Courage event.
UTA has been delving deeper into the creator space of late, recently signing the likes of Steven Rinella and Aimee Smale.
