Ricky Gervais will mark the 25th anniversary of The Office with a rundown of his favorite David Brent moments. Gervais will present each of the 25 moments on his YouTube channel and said there will be never-before-told stories, the lowdown on the inspiration behind iconic lines, and the backstories on the scenes that nearly had to be abandoned because of laughter on set.

David Brent is the hapless boss in The Office, which started out on the BBC in the UK, before getting remade in the U.S. and other markets. Whether it is his infamous dance routine at the office party, or regular cringe-inducing interactions with his staff, Brent served up numerous classic comedy moments, many of which continue to be circulated widely on social media.

Gervais’ YouTube channel will feature plenty of Brent and will also have other archive material from his other shows, including After Life, as well as his stand-up shows, alongside content made specifically for the channel.

The channel already has Sunday evening live streams where Gervais takes audience questions. Topics have ranged from AI in comedy and creative inspiration to veganism, alongside the absurd conversations that crop up as he interacts with fans.

“I’m absolutely loving building my YouTube channel,” Gervais said. “It’s the best way to interact with my wonderful fans without leaving the house and actually bumping into any of those weirdos.”

The Brent retrospective drops on July 8. His YouTube channel is run with Platform Media, which also works with comics and presenters including Graham Norton, Romesh Ranganathan and Olivia Attwood.
