EXCLUSIVE: Following work on Ang Lee‘s new film Gold Mountain, actor Josh Stewart has inked with Gersh for representation in all areas.
Gold Mountain, which recently wrapped production, is an adaptation of C Pam Zhang’s novel How Much of These Hills is Gold, with a script adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist Chang-Rae Lee. Stewart shares the screen with Chedi Chang, Sophia Xu, Yao, Zine Tseng and Owen Teague.
The actor can currently be seen in two of the most talked about projects of the summer: Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, where he plays Antiphates, the king of the giant Laestrygonians, and Paramount+’s Yellowstone spin-off sequel Dutton Ranch, where he plays Sheriff Handy Wade opposite Kelly Reilly and Annette Bening.
Stewart has previously worked with Nolan on Tenet, Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises. Other film credits include Insidious: The Last Key, Transcendence, The Finest Hours and The Mustang, as well as playing the main protagonist in The Collector series.
In television, the actor has appeared in Criminal Minds, Manhunter, The Punisher and Shooter. He continues to be repped by Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
