Hayley Williams closed out her second show at The Roundhouse by bringing out Wet Leg‘s Rhian Teasdale for a duet on ‘Parachute’. Check out footage below.

The two dates at the London venue took place over the weekend, as part of the Paramore frontwoman’s extensive run of solo shows around the world in support of her third solo LP ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, which she released in July last year.

At night one on Friday (June 19), she surprised fans by bringing out The xx’s Romy in London for a cover of Prefab Sprout’s ‘Wild Horses’, and on night two (Saturday June 20), she kept the surprises coming by bringing out Wet Leg singer Rhian Teasdale for closing track ‘Parachute’.

“We are only six shows away from wrapping up ‘The Bachelorette Party’ tour,” Williams said before launching into the epic final track. “It’s been fun, it has felt like a wedding and a funeral every night. Thanks for supporting these albums, I appreciate you.”

From there she broke out the final song of her 22-song setlist, and Teasdale was seen jumping up and down and singing along at the side of the stage.

The Wet Leg singer then came on stage as Williams pointed at her and smiled, before grabbing a microphone and taking on backing vocals and headbanging.

As well as Teasdale and Romy, other special guests on the ‘Bachelorette Party’ tour have included Jenny Lewis and Julien Baker, who were part of her Los Angeles show last month, as well as Jack Antonoff, Bethany Cosentino and Jay Som.

Williams has shared her love for Wet Leg before, and appeared on a podcast with Teasdale in 2022 when she said that she doesn’t “dare” play guitar on stage due to sexist comments.

Since the second Roundhouse show on Saturday, Williams has continued her latest solo tour with shows in Manchester on June 22 and 23, and will be playing in Glasgow on Friday night (June 26). Visit here for tickets, and find both Saturday’s setlist and more footage below.

Williams has written about the effect it has had on her to head out on the road solo again, saying it has “turned me back into a night owl” and “back into a teenaged dreamer with dark circles”.

Her latest album ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, was given a five-star review by NME, which read: “As with almost every era of Hayley Williams’ career, this new release has come with questions about the future of Paramore. The determined lyrics on the tender ‘I Won’t Quit On You’ should be all the reassurance worried fans need, but if that’s not enough, there’s plenty in this brilliant, swaggering new chapter to be excited about.

“These songs might be about missed second chances, but Williams is certainly making the most of hers.”

It also went on to be named as the ninth best album of the year in NME’s end of year list. Last month, she also shared a 12-minute documentary about the making of the record.
