CBS will air Daughters of 9/11 on Friday, Sept. 11, featuring Elizabeth Miller and Jessica Trant, whose fathers died in the horrific World Trade Center attacks. The two-hour special, from Wolf Entertainment, Blowback Productions and See It Now Studios, will air from 9-11 pm on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Per the logline: Twenty-five years after the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil, Elizabeth Miller, Jessica Trant and FBI special agent Frank Pellegrino confront whether the man accused of masterminding the attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), will ever face justice.
Composer Brendan Ryan, who lost his newlywed bride in the World Trade Center on 9/11, created the score for the special.
Daughters of 9/11 is produced by Wolf Entertainment with executive producers Dick Wolf and Tom Thayer; Blowback Productions with executive producer Daniel Voll, director Marc Levin, producers Daphne Pinkerson and Marc Levin, and consulting producer Terry McDermott, co-author, The Hunt for KSM; See it Now Studios with executive producers Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong, and supervising producers Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora.
