Francois Arnaud is confirming his return for Heated Rivalry season two.
The 41-year-old actor has been expected to reprise his role as Scott Hunter for the upcoming second season, as the character is included in the book, “The Long Game,” which the season will focus on.
In a new interview, Francois confirmed that he and Robbie GK (Kip Grady, his on-screen love interest) will definitely be back on the show.
“I can tell you that there’s more of Scott, but I can’t tell you in what capacity. There are various things at play,” he told WWD.
While the actor can’t spill any more than that, he assures that “there’s definitely more of Scott and Kip.”
Earlier this year, Robbie shared his hopes for a Skip wedding in season two. If you haven’t read the books, the two characters tie the knot in the epilogue of the fourth book, “Common Goal.”
The hit Crave series is set to start filming next week, and stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams have been spotted spending time together in Toronto over the past week. The show’s producers also released a statement before filming begins.
Francois also talked about how Heated Rivalry season one really took off and how his life has changed since.
“It’s been a crazy ride, but I’m finding my footing — not that I feel like I lost it ever,” Francois shared. “The good definitely outweighs the bad. I’m so proud to be part of that show and that it reached so many people. And I’m trying to be smart and make the most of it for the rest of my life. It’s not even something that I dreamed of. Fame for me was always kind of a tool to actually get the work that I want to do.”
“I’m trying to do that and make the most of the opportunities that I have and keep pursuing the ones that I don’t, and be present and not let any of that noise affect me too much,” he continued. “I want to take the opportunity to do things that I wasn’t able to do before, like this, for instance. But also to keep doing what I’ve actually been doing.”
