EXCLUSIVE: Digital-first talent house Currents Management is building out its teams across North America.

The L.A.-based management company has hired Ashley Ward Colson and Ryan Linden as agents, and promoted four others, namely Emma Clarke, Evalee Mach, Isabella Wille and Liran Maayani. The moves expand Currents’ presence in Nashville and Toronto.

Canada-based Linden joins after spending five years in influencer marketing and talent management in the entertainment and comedy sector for Viral Nation. He will be an agent at Currents, which represents digital stars such as Alexandra Madison and Jonathon Bouffard, Kay and Tay Dudley, and Micah and Sarah Wallace.

Colson joins as a talent manager with a background in influencer marketing and brand partnerships. She was previously at Trend Management. She will focus on Currents’ roster of entertainment, lifestyle and digital talent.

Meanwhile, former Gersh agent Clarke has been promoted to Director of Talent. She will lead the Nashville office, where Colson will also be based. Mach, Wille and Maayani have all been upped to talent manager positions.

Cameron and Nilou Ajdari founded Currents in 2019, and it has since built a roster of creator economy talent, with Matt and Abby Howard, Julie Sousa, Laura Whaley, Shelby and Dylan Reese and Rashad Little on the books among others. The talent collectively has a reached of million followers, according to Currents.
