LaVar Ball and wife Tina Slatinsky are splitting up after nearly three decades together.

The 57-year-old CEO of Big Baller Brand and former athlete confirmed the news in an appearance on N3on‘s livestream on Wednesday (June 24).

Lavar confirmed that Tina “decided to go her own way. That’s why you don’t see her right here.”

“She wanted to go do something else, that’s fine with me. We had our run. We had our run. So, even though she had the stroke, and getting older, she would never be like, ‘Oh, man.’ She was always beautiful in my eyes, until you say I want to go do something else,” he continued, referring to her 2017 stroke that caused aphasia.

“The fact that if you decide to go this way, I’m gonna go that way. That’s fine. It is what it is, man. Any time you can find somebody you can stay in love with for a really long time… if you can witness that love, that’s good. I had that with her,” he added, confirming that he’s already dating someone new.

“And I found somebody else, but it is what it is,” he said, adding that the streamer “didn’t need to worry about it” when pressed for further info.

The ex-couple got married in 1997 and have three kids: Lonzo, 28, LiAngelo, 27, and LaMelo, 24.

Years ago, Donald Trump made a shocking statement about one of LaVar‘s sons.
