aespa are currently on their Synk : Complæxity world tour and the K-pop group is coming to North America in September, with dates in the U.S. and Canada.
As with any K-pop concert, light sticks are a staple and have become a defining feature at shows, with fans waving the light-up glow sticks to the beat of their favorite songs and to cheer their favorite idols on.
If you’re heading to the aespa tour, there are currently two official light sticks that you can pick up online. Both versions are endorsed and released by the group and make for a must-have accessory for their concerts.

Version 1 of the aespa light stick has Bluetooth connectivity and a spherical top with a removable inner disc that lets fans switch between each of the four members’ emblems.
This is the original aespa light stick and features a removable inner disc that can be switched for personal logos representing Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning. It’s battery-powered rather than having a built-in rechargeable battery and comes with a strap and manual. Its larger, rounded design is less compact than Version 2 but gives fans the customizable emblem feature that the newer model does not have.

Released last year, the new aespa light stick features a brighter lighting system, stronger battery performance, a smaller handle and built-in Bluetooth connectivity.
Version 2 replaces the original spherical top with a flatter design inspired by aespa’s “ae” symbol. It has a slimmer profile and multicolor LED lighting for concert use. The package includes the light stick, strap, manual and four photocards, while AAA batteries are sold separately. The updated design is lighter and easier to carry than Version 1, making it the more practical choice for fans prioritizing portability and newer features.
Official aespa light sticks can connect to the concert’s lighting system using Bluetooth. When wireless control is available, the light stick can automatically change colors and lighting effects along with the show. Before the concert, fans can use the SMTOWN app to register their light stick, connect it through Bluetooth, enter their seat information, and update the light stick’s firmware if needed.
Important: Wireless synchronization is not available at every concert. The setup can vary by country, tour stop, and venue. Check the concert or venue’s official instructions before the show to see whether light stick synchronization will be available. If the concert does not offer wireless control, your light stick will still work normally using its standard lighting modes — you’ll just need to change the color modes manually.
aespa’s tour comes on the heels of the group’s recent performance at Lollapalooza, and their new album, Lemonade, which was released in May.
