Milo Yiannopoulos has been detained by ICE.

On Friday (August 28), it was revealed that the 41-year-old far-right political commentator, who is British, is currently in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and being held at a detention center in Louisiana, according to inmate records viewed by TMZ.

Circumstances surrounding Milo‘s detention have not be revealed, but sources told the outlet that he was allegedly apprehended at an airport.

Milo is known for his ties with Kanye West. The controversial journalist served as the 49-year-old rapper’s Chief of Staff for two years when Kanye ran for President in 2022. The two parted ways professionally in 2024.

It’s speculated that Milo is in Louisiana to attend Kanye‘s concert in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome, which is scheduled for Friday night.

Milo Yiannopoulos resigned from the conservative and far-right news outlet Breitbart News in 2017, which came on the heels of some very controversial comments, reportedly condoning pedophilia. He had lost a book deal at the time as well.
