Sixteen Big Brother houseguests have been confirmed ahead of tonight’s premiere episode!
If you don’t know, the Julie Chen Moonves-hosted season is set to premiere in just a few hours on CBS.
BB28‘s theme is “Time Trip.” The new season promises that house guests will “enter a world where rooms, relics and competitions transport them across moments in time, while early twists shake up the game from the start….Inspired by decades like the ’80s and Y2K, new powers and challenges can disrupt strategy and alliances,” a press release teases.
So far, this season features 14 new houseguests and 2 CBS veteran players. One is from the Survivor universe, and one has played Big Brother before. Rumors are swirling more might be revealed!
This season, it looks like we’ll have an MMA fighter, rocket scientist, game show host, a Drag Race All-Star and more competing!

Angela Murray – Returning Contestant!
Former BB contestant Angela Murray is set to compete this season!
Men’s Journal is reporting that the former season 26 contestant will be back for season 28. We’re assuming she’ll be introduced tonight.
Rick Devens – Survivor Contestant Set to Compete!
EW is reporting that Survivor 50 star Rick Devens is set to appear on BB28! They’re also sharing that another Survivor castaway will also be joining the newly revealed houseguests for the upcoming season of Big Brother. We do not yet know the identity of the second Survivor contestant.

CBS also revealed details about each room in the Big Brother: Time Trip house.
Season 28 begins with a special 90-minute premiere on Thursday (July 9) from 8:00 to 9:30 PM ET/PT. It continues with the season premiere of Big Brother: Unlocked on Friday (July 10) from 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET/PT, and wraps up the opening weekend with a 90-minute Sunday episode of the main series on Sunday (July 12) from 8:00 to 9:30 PM ET/PT.
