EXCLUSIVE: Holly Willoughby is setting up shop on YouTube.
The top British presenter is launching Holly Willoughby Together, a lifestyle series for YouTube and social that counts Stanley Tucci, Katherine Ryan, Joanne McNally, Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton in its first tranche of guests. She will also speak to campaigners like Ellen Froome, who is lobbying for regulation of the tech giants, and chefs including Lauren Leyva.
The first ep will launch on July 28 and there will be two per week under five pillars: Talk Together, Cook Together, Look Good Together, Better Together and Hang Out Together.
Filmed in a purpose-built studio, Willoughby will hang out with guests and talk about the weekâs chosen topic.
Produced by Hungry Bear Media, which is run by Willoughbyâs husband Dan Baldwin, Holly Willoughby Together is the presenterâs first big YouTube push. According to her reps, she has a digital audience of 16 million. Willoughby is one of the UKâs most popular presenters but she has had a difficult few years, first dealing with the fallout from the scandal around former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield and then the terror of a man convicted of an alleged plot to abduct and murder her.
She has since returned to presenting, fronting ITVâs You Bet! and Netflixâs Celebrity Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls.
Willoughby said: âIâm so proud of the work all the team who make Together have put into this exciting new project. Weâve had a lot of fun developing it and look forward to seeing what you think.â
The show counts tech health provider Voy as founding brand partner.
Numerous top presenters have turned to YouTube in recent years including Piers Morgan, whose hit Talk TV YouTube show now airs a highlights compilation on Paramount network 5.
