EXCLUSIVE: Off Campus author Elle Kennedy has signed with Circle Management + Production for management and representation.
Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and she holds a BA in English from York University. Her books are bestsellers across the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Sunday Times.
She has authored more than 50 contemporary fiction and romance novels, published by a variety of major houses. Her works have been translated into over 25 languages and sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
Kennedy’s Off Campus book series made way for the Prime Video television show, Season 1 of which premiered in May and reached 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days of release. It now stands as Prime Video’s third most-watched debut series of all time. The Off Campus books follow four Briar University hockey players as they navigate sex, relationships, and growing up. Season 1 centered Belmont Cameli’s Garrett Graham and Ella Bright’s Hannah Wells.
Extending from Off-Campus, Kennedy wrote the Briar U and Campus Diaries series which follow teammates of the original core four Briar hockey players. Kennedy’s Avalon Bay trilogy follows love stories set by the beach. Her standalone novel, Girl Abroad, is currently being developed as a series from Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen, with A24 and Pacesetter, which Deadline first reported.
Kennedy also writes with the pseudonym E. Kennedy, under which she recently released her novel Thornbird, a hard-boiled, slow-burn young adult mystery thriller about one girl’s race to solve the crimes of her family’s twisted past before it’s too late. Published on June 30, the novel debuted on the New York Times Bestseller list.
