Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men are set to lead the 2026 MLB All-Star Game entertainment festivities. Continuing the America 250 celebrations, the All-Star Game is slated for Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on July 14.
Before the diamond’s best take the field for the Midsummer Classic, Jennifer Hudson is set to perform “America the Beautiful” while Patti LaBelle will sing the national anthem.
The Godmother of Soul will be accompanied by the Military District of Washington Joint Chorus and West Point Band for “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Boyz II Men will hit the field to perform at the conclusion of the fifth inning for the Stand Up to Cancer tribute, which will invite fans to hold up their placards in honor of those lost, currently fighting or impacted by cancer.
Philly native Miles Teller will also be part of the pre-game pageantry, which will find the actor narrating a segment about baseball being embedded in the DNA of American society for more than a century.
“As we gather to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Philadelphia is the perfect stage to bring this milestone to life,” an MLB spokesperson said in a statement. “Our All-Star Game programming pairs global star power like Jennifer Hudson with incredible local flavor, featuring Pennsylvania’s own Miles Teller and homegrown icons Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men. This lineup captures the unique energy of the city while honoring how baseball has been a part of the American spirit for 250 years.”
The MLB announced the All-Star rosters over the weekend, including 26 first-timers. Following the Home Run Derby on July 13, The Fillmore in Philadelphia will host The Players Party, which is set to feature a performance from 2 Chainz.
