A third contestant will be sent home from Dancing with the Stars this evening, and there’s one contestant who actually was hoping to be eliminated after the premiere episode.
Jimmy Kimmel Live‘s Guillermo Rodriguez, who is paired with Witney Carson, was actually hoping to be sent home after week one.
Guillermo Rodriguez apparently said “five times” that he wanted to be sent home
“At the beginning, I wanted to go home,” Guillermo said on the Dancing with the Stars Official Podcast, to which host Andy Richter responded, “You must have said five times, ‘I want to go home. Send me home. Don’t vote for me.’”
About his week 2 dance, he said, “I feel good. I feel great, but when they announced who was going home, I was like, ‘Yeah!’ And then I go, ‘Wow, wait, I have five days to prepare for a second one.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I’m already stressed. …Now, it’s like, I gotta learn. I gotta learn how to dance. I gotta practice. I told Witney before we come here, I got to practice. I want to do good in the second week. It sucks to be in the bottom.”
