With an eye on helping content creators turn their “followers into lasting fans” – and aggressively pursuing acquisitions in the space – Live Nation has launched “Creator Nation.”

The Ticketmaster parent formally announced Creator Nation’s debut yesterday, after closing out 2024 by taking a majority stake in Timeline Management. Alexis Fisher co-founded the influencer-focused firm, which, Live Nation emphasized, “will continue to operate separately from Creator Nation.”

However, she and Scott Fisher, who last year sold his Select Management (which counts as clients all manner of content creators) to Propagate Content, are aboard Creator Nation as co-founders.

And as summed up by Live Nation, the execs will be in the driver’s seat when it comes to running and expanding the newly minted operation. The Fishers, the live giant noted for good measure, “will lead the company with their own team, drawing on Live Nation’s experience and resources” as they do so.

Furthermore, this team is already expanding; hiring is “underway across creator strategy, commerce, touring, data, operations and marketing,” the promoter drove home.

(Out of the gate, with additional roles coming “soon,” Creator Nation is looking to bring on a marketing and comms director, a recruiting manager, a social content producer, and a social content coordinator.)

Regarding the initially mentioned acquisitions, buyouts are very much on the table for Creator Nation as well; the entity “will acquire and scale creator-management firms and adjacent businesses, with its first acquisitions expected in the coming months,” Live Nation specified.

Addressing Live Nation’s investment and Creator Nation’s goals, Scott Fisher touched on plans to help much-followed creators monetize their reach.

“Creators have proven they can build enormous audiences, but the infrastructure around them has not always kept pace,” he said. “We’re building Creator Nation to give creators and the teams supporting them the resources to turn that influence into businesses designed to last.”

Meanwhile, Alexis Fisher underscored the perceived potential to unlock “entirely new opportunities” for the same creators.

“Bringing creator-led shows to the stage showed us how a strong relationship with fans can open the door to entirely new opportunities,” she added. “Creator Nation gives us a platform to do that for many more creators, across every part of their business.”

With that, all eyes are on the acquisitions and the infrastructure-geared initiatives at hand.

More broadly, the investment underscores Live Nation’s expansion strategy; as it grapples with far-reaching regulatory scrutiny and legal headaches, the Pukkelpop owner has been letting the purchases and agreements fly as of late.

This includes but isn’t limited to high-profile plays in Argentina, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, France, and Uruguay for the Hiyo parent through 2026’s first nine months.
