The USMNT rallied a historic 24.4M U.S. viewers across Fox, FS1 and Tubi for its defeat of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The round of 32 victory is now the most-watched soccer telecast in English-Language U.S. history, peaking with nearly 32M viewers toward the end of the match.

The USMNT has been driving historic U.S. viewership for since the World Cup began last month. Per Fox,  the group stage round averaging nearly 5.1M U.S. viewers across 72 matches on Fox, FS1 and Tubi — a 92% increase from 2022.

The team’s defeat of Paraguay is also a top-watched match this year. Until the group of 32 match, that opener was the most-watched World Cup telecast ever for English-language U.S. audiences with more than 18M U.S. viewers. That is a 132% increase from when the USMNT faced Wales to the tune of 7.8M viewers in 2022.

The USMNT also claimed the third and fourth place spots, thanks to their wins over Australia and last-minute loss to Türkiye.
