“It’s an honor and a tremendous privilege,” Clavell, a 2026 Billboard Latin Women in Music Executive honoree, said in a press statement. “We are talking about an institution — pillars of Dominican merengue — and a family whose music has been a part of so many people’s lives. I accept this opportunity with deep gratitude, but also with the responsibility of contributing to a legacy that deserves to keep growing and being celebrated; I am thankful for the trust placed in me and for the chance to work alongside René, who has dedicated so many years to this great institution. It is a truly rewarding experience to join forces with someone who has such a deep understanding of the history and has played a fundamental role in the group’s development. I am here to add value, to work with dedication, and to contribute everything within my power so that, together, we can achieve great things for Los Hermanos Rosario.”

Solís added: “We are thrilled to welcome Sonia Clavell to our team. She is a true professional with extensive industry experience and someone we’ve known for a long time. Her arrival marks a new chapter for us, as she brings fresh ideas and a different perspective to help us continue our growth and bring our music to new generations.”

Los Hermanos Rosario have various Billboard chart entries, including five Top 10 hits on Tropical Airplay: “La Dueña del Swing,” “Rompecintura,” “Siento,” “Alo” and “Esa Muchacha.” Eight of their albums have charted on Top Tropical Albums, including Y es Facil, which peaked at No. 1 in 1997. Currently, they are making the rounds with their 2026 set Identidad (Live). In 2028, they will be celebrating their 50-year trajectory.
