Olivia Wilde got support from her longtime friend Dianna Agron at a screening of her new movie this week!

The actresses posed for a photo together at a special screening of Olivia‘s movie The Invite on Monday night (June 15) at The Whitby Hotel in New York City.

Olivia not only stars in the movie, she also directed the film. She was joined at the event by screenplay writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, as well as psychotherapist Esther Perel, who served as a consultant for the movie.

What is The Invite about?

Joe and Angela’s marriage is on thin ice. When they invite their enigmatic upstairs neighbors for a dinner party, the night spirals into unexpected places. Have they reignited the spark or lit the match that burns it all down?

The Invite also stars Seth Rogen, Penelope Cruz, and Edward Norton. The A24 movie hits select theaters on June 26 and will be released nationwide on July 10.

Olivia Wilde and Dianna Agron’s friendship

It’s unclear how Olivia and Dianna met, but they’ve known each other for at least 15 years. Getty Images has a photo of them posing together at an event back in 2011.

Dianna played Jason Sudeikis‘ girlfriend in the 2015 movie Tumbledown, which was filmed when he was still in a relationship with Olivia.

“I’m really dear friends with Olivia and Jason comes with Olivia, so I got to know him over the past little bit, then I’m playing his girlfriend in a movie, which I find more strange, even though it’s acting, because friends are involved,” she told PopSugar in 2014.

At the screening, Dianna was also pictured with her friend Danny Shea.
