Anne Hathaway recently shared an exciting update about The Princess Diaries 3 at D23 and now fans are eager to find out anything they can about the cast, such as which stars are returning!
Anne was at the event being honored as a new Disney Legend and spoke about how important The Princess Diaries franchise is to her.
“It’s why we are working so hard to get The Princess Diaries 3 right,” she said, going on to thank fans for their patience.
More than 20 years after the sequel hit theaters, Disney confirmed a third film is in development, with Adele Lim directing.
And while we already know that Anne is coming back as Mia Thermopolis, there are other cast members who have talked about reprising their roles!
Most recently, one major star did sadly confirm they won’t be in the new movie.
