MrBeast is returning to his roots with a look at some of the most ambitious creations ever made in Minecraft.
The 28-year-old YouTube superstar released a new video on Saturday (August 29), touring a series of elaborate Minecraft builds before arriving at a one-to-one recreation of Earth, constructed with more than one trillion blocks.
The video is called “We Built the Earth in Minecraft!” and attracted more than 19 million views during its first day online.
“This is the world’s largest Minecraft build: a one-to-one recreation of Earth,” MrBeast declares at the beginning of the video.

What Is the World’s Largest Minecraft Build?
The final portion of the video explores BuildTheEarth, a community-led project seeking to recreate the entire planet inside Minecraft at a one-to-one scale. Each block represents approximately one cubic meter in the real world.
The project was launched by YouTube creator PippenFTS in March 2020 and has since attracted builders from around the world.
Guinness World Records formally recognizes BuildTheEarth as the biggest Minecraft project.
When asked how many blocks have been placed across the complete project, builder, developer, and project lead MineFact estimates that the number has surpassed one trillion. Despite that enormous figure, the builders estimate that they have completed less than 1% of Earth.
“This is the most ambitious and impressive project in Minecraft,” MrBeast says. “Honestly, one of the most impressive projects in history.”
“The fact that tens of thousands of people from different cultures and different regions around the world are coming together to build a replica of the planet in Minecraft is something I’ve never seen before,” he went on to say.
Why Is Minecraft Important to MrBeast?
“When I started the MrBeast YouTube channel 14 years ago, my first videos were me just looking at cool projects on Minecraft,” he explains near the conclusion.
“This game lets you do anything you can possibly imagine, and even though it’s been 14 years, Minecraft still blows my mind.”
