The 44-year-old has shared a glimpse of her wellness routine as she prepares to welcome her third baby, her first with boyfriend Tanguy Destable.

“I try and do some kind of physical activity every day,” she told Elle in an interview published Aug. 3. “I either swim or walk, and do gyrotonics. I’m still vegan. I take lots of vitamins. I try and sleep as much as possible.”

In fact, the Black Swan star—who also shares Aleph, 15, and Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied—noted that the restrictions she has during pregnancy leave her feeling brand new.

“I also feel like being pregnant is almost like a cleanse because you don’t drink and can’t have caffeine,” she continued. “So I’m like, ‘Wow, I’ve never been cleaner in my life.’”

And as she has navigated this pregnancy, Portman has gotten candid about the “privilege” she has had to expect a child in her mid-40s.

“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview published April 17. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Growing up with a fertility doctor as a parent, the Thor actress understood the difficulties that come with getting pregnant, giving her a deeper appreciation for her children.

“I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well,” she added. “It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing."

While her family awaits their newest arrival, they have been enjoying life in Paris, where Portman has lived for over a decade. In May, the Star Wars alum shared a peek at all of the museums she had been perusing, including the Picasso Museum, Grand Palais, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

Alongside pictures of her favorite artworks, she wrote in a May 7 Instagram post, “Paris lately.”
