EXCLUSIVE: Salt Lake City, Orange County and Calabasas have all become havens for reality television in the last few years. Next up? Arizona.

Deadline understands that Netflix has greenlit Arizona Hot (w/t), its latest ensemble reality series.

The series follows a friend group of ambitious twenty-somethings fresh out of college as they navigate careers, friendships, romances, and rivalries.

Arizona Hot comes from Bright Spot Content, which is behind series such as TLC’s Little People Big World, Amazon’s Wear Whatever The F You Want and Hulu’s Hotties. Led by former Discovery exec Sandy Varo Jarrell, the company is now owned by Banijay Entertainment following its merger with All3Media. It is produced with Ain’t That Something Entertainment, which was founded by Matt Solomon, a casting director behind series such as Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Netflix’s Selling Sunset.

It is the streamer’s latest foray into the classic reality show; other recent shows include The Leftovers from SallyAnn Salsano, which is set in New Jersey, Calabasas Confidential, Members Only: Palm Beach and Earle Meets World, which stars influencer Alix Earle.

The series comes amidst a revitalization of the reality genre; The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which was recently renewed for twenty more episodes, helped Hulu get back into this area, while Bravo continues to have hits such as Summer House alongside its long-running franchises such as The Real Housewives.

Arizona has been the set for shows such as A&E’s Desert Law and WEtv’s Sunset Daze.
