Candy Crush (and Universal Music Group) unites Shania Twain and Zedd for a reimagining of “You’re Still the One” for Candy Crush’s Music Season 2026.

Casual mobile game Candy Crush is bringing singer-songwriter Shania Twain and DJ-producer Zedd to reimagine an almost 30-year-old classic. Today, the mobile gaming sensation kicks off its annual Music Season in-game event with a candy-coated, dancefloor-ready version of Shania’s classic hit, “You’re Still the One.”

The track sets the pace to an interactive music video that transports fans to Candy Country—”a glittering, candy-coated Western fantasy world where it rains rhinestones, roadhouse saloons shimmer like gumdrops, and rainbow rapids rush in technicolor.”

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the video brings his distinctive visual storytelling to the Candy Crush Saga universe, transforming the game’s playful spirit into a world filled with surreal moments. Fans can find hidden clues throughout the video that could unlock a range of prizes.

U.S.-based fans can head to the Candy Roadhouse website to enter, seek out the blue sugar stars, and hunt for rewards. Six lucky winners can score a VIP trip to meet Shania Twain or Zedd on tour. Fans can also get their hands on signed bandanas and one-of-a-kind pieces straight out of the music video itself, including Shania’s baby pink hero outfit with fringe detail, as well as Zedd’s rhinestone-encrusted helmet.

“Bringing ‘You’re Still the One’ back with Zedd, and building this special world with Candy Crush for fans to play in, felt like the perfect way to give the song new life. It feels exactly right,” said Shania Twain.

“I was super happy Candy Crush brought me and Shania Twain together. She’s a legendary artist, and I grew up listening to her music, so being able to collaborate with her on a new version of such an iconic song has been really special,” said Zedd.

Last year, Candy Crush teamed up with Thundercat to reimagine a renowned Diana Ross track as a playable, swipe-driven music video. This year evolves that experience even further, turning a music video into an interactive hunt for hidden codes, surprises, and rewards. It’s a natural evolution for a brand built around play, turning passive viewing into active discovery and creating new ways for fans to engage.

“Candy Crush has always been about making everyday moments more fun. Music Season takes that spirit into music culture, turning a song people know and love into something they can explore, play with, and share. Working with Shania and Zedd gives fans a fresh experience and another way to experience Candy Crush beyond the game,” said Luken Aragon, Chief Marketing Officer at Candy Crush parent King.

Candy Crush’s Music Season 2026 is live now in-game through October 5, with the Music Season Expedition available from level 11 onward. Fans can also watch the video and start uncovering hidden rewards. Candy Crush Saga is free to download on iOS and Android; Candy Roadhouse rewards are available to U.S. residents only.
