EXCLUSIVE: Eugene Levy will continue his globe-trotting for Apple TV.

The streaming service has renewed The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy for Season 4, following the Schitt’s Creek star as he delights in discovering new frontiers.

Levy said: “After three seasons on the show I have just about accepted, albeit begrudgingly, that saying ‘yes’ to new experiences is not necessarily a bad thing for me. So, I’ve committed to saying ‘yes’ a little more often this season. It’s a strategy I’m approaching with considerable caution.”

Levy’s Season 4 destinations are being kept under wraps for now, though his previous adventures have taken him to Tokyo, Scotland, and India, earning him an Emmy nomination in the process.

The Reluctant Traveler is produced by Twofour, the ITV Studios-backed production company. Executive producers are Levy, David Brindley, Nic Patten, Lily Fitzpatrick, Iain Peckham, and Adam Barry. The series hails from Jay Hunt’s European team at Apple, where Alison Kirkham oversees unscripted commissioning.

Season 3 made headlines after Levy secured an interview with Prince William, in which the British royal was fairly frank about his future role as King.

“I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda,” he told Levy. “Change for good, and I embrace that, I enjoy that change. I don’t fear it, that’s the bit that excites me, the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical, but changes that I think need to happen.”
