Jorja Smith has been confirmed as the latest artist to be performing at The O2 as part of the venue’s 20th birthday celebrations.
The London venue opened as the Millennium Dome in December 1999, before rebranding and opening as the O2 Arena in the space’s entertainment district in June 2007. Now, to mark 20 years since it reopened its doors, a series of gigs are being held at the venue.
Now, the latest artist to join the bill has been confirmed as singer-songwriter and two-time BRIT Award winner, Jorja Smith. She will take to the stage there on Saturday July 17, 2027.
“Performing at The O2 as part of its 20th birthday celebrations is a huge honour,” she shared. “It’s a venue that has hosted so many incredible artists and unforgettable moments over the years, so to be part of this milestone feels really special. I’m excited to celebrate with you all.”
Christian D’Acuna, Vice President, Programming at The O2, added: “We are so pleased to welcome Jorja Smith, for what will be her only UK arena performance of 2027, to our ever-growing 20th birthday line-up.
“The show will be Jorja’s first-ever headline performance at the venue, making it a special moment both for us at The O2 and for her fans.”

Artists celebrating 20 years of The O2 with 2027 performances are:
Maisie Peters – Saturday May 8
Shreya Ghoshal – Friday June 4
Don Omar – Monday July 5
Jorja Smith – Saturday July 17
Since opening in 2007, The O2 has hosted over 3,000 shows and welcomed over 100million visitors.
As for Jorja Smith, Smith has dropped new album ‘What Are The Odds’ and is now set to co-headline All Points East in London with Tems.
In a four-star review of the record, NME wrote: ‘What Are The Odds’ is Smith at her most comfortable, loosely embodying her emotional state. All that she’s been, and all that she will be – the mess, desire, regret and state of armour she’s built across her ten years in the headlights.
“It’s endearingly charming, brutally honest and ultimately fun. Now able to enjoy the catharsis that comes with perspective, Smith comes of age once again on this album, this time bold in her instincts and ability to laugh at herself along the way.”
