Tom Holland's spidey senses are telling him to steer clear of Studio 8H.

In fact, the Spider-Man star revealed there's basically zero chance he'd ever host Saturday Night Live—and he has a very valid reason for turning down the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"I’m heavily dyslexic," Tom told SNL alum Amy Poehler on the June 2 episode of her Good Hang podcast, noting that the learning disability—which affects reading and spelling—is the main reason he's "never done SNL."

A surprised Amy replied, "Because of the cue cards?" to which Tom confirmed, "I’m so petrified at the concept of trying to read something and then they change [it]."

"For me, I can read fine," the 30-year-old went on to explain, "but when I have to read out loud, it just becomes like a kind of—it’s like a mental block—and I can freeze."

Turns out, the thought of hosting NBC's longstanding live sketch comedy show—which returns for season 52 later this year—is so daunting, Tom's already turned down Lorne Michaels' offer multiple times.

"I’ve been really lucky that they’ve asked me a few times to do it," Zendaya's possible husband continued, "and the truth is that I’m actually just really scared. I love the show, and I love the idea of having fun and making a fool of yourself in such a fun, creative way. It’s just that thing of the cue cards."

So, how does Tom manage his dyslexia while working on other big budget blockbusters, like Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic The Odyssey?

"For me, my worst day at work is the read-through," he admitted. "I will really try and highlight everything and learn my lines ahead of time so that I’m more skimming it than I am reading it."

Still, Amy had full confidence in Tom's hosting abilities and encouraged him to face his fears.

"You have to remember," the Mean Girls alum said, "there have been people that have hosted that have been fully on drugs. I think you can do it."

While fans continue to hope that Tom may one day host SNL—perhaps jointly with Zendaya—keep reading to look back at the couple's fairytale love story.
