During his Variety sit-down, he made it known that he finds the career path “insane” and “lame.”

“It’s bad, and it makes me sad, you know. And girls are just talking to themselves on there, and they’re like, ‘Okay, come get ready with me.’ And I’m like, ‘Who the **** are you? What do you do? Nothing. What the **** is this?,'” he shared.”They make 40 million a year. What? And then I’m like, ‘The world’s broken.'”
He continued, “There’s girls my age that go on TikTok, and they’ll, like, mutter like a thing and then do this, like, dance. And I’m like, ‘What the *** are you doing?’ This is insane. Does no one else see how ******* insane and lame this is? And these girls are like super famous. Like, everyone’s like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe.'”
Many commenters, both influencers and non-influencers, had thoughts on his comments.
Many pointed out that if more men were fashion influencers, it would be considered an acceptable career.
Others pointed out that Pete dated Kim Kardashian.
