The Hallmark Channel marketing team did such a great job creating the artwork for the new movie Texas Two-Step that it looks like other actors from the network might be wishing they were in the film too!
Heather Hemmens and Brendan Penny lead the cast of the new rom-com, which is airing as part of Hallmark’s Summer Nights programming block throughout June 2026.
Here’s the logline: “Olivia returns to Texas to help her aunt with her country music bar that’s fallen on hard times and reconnects with Luke, her childhood sweetheart turned cowboy, and her passion for dancing.”
You can catch the movie on Hallmark Channel on Saturday (June 13) at 8pm and streaming the next day on Hallmark+.
Heather Hemmens and Brendan Penny have known each other for years!
While this might be Heather and Brendan‘s first time starring in a movie together, they’ve known each other for years and this has been a long time coming.
Heather and Brendan sailed together on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise in both 2024 and 2025. They’ve also attended other Hallmark events alongside each other, so they’ve been friends for a while.
It’s about time we’re seeing them in a movie together!
