EXCLUSIVE: CBS‘ Elsbeth is gearing up for its Season 4 premiere on October 8 with the first list of guest stars, including Nicole Scherzinger (The Masked Singer), Nicholas Braun (Succession), New York Knicks star OG Anunoby, and Jemima Kirke (Girls).
Carrie Preston returns as Elsbeth Tascioni, the brilliant yet unconventional consent decree attorney working with the NYPD to track down New York’s most entitled murderers utilizing her unique, intuitive point of view. The series enters its fourth season with fresh cases, family drama, and new pressures on Elsbeth and the 11th Precinct, led by her boss, Captain C.W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce).
Scherzinger will appear in the Season 4 premiere as Serena Collyer, a popular and highly paid relationship counselor whose torrid affair with an old love leads to murder.
Elsbeth crosses paths with renowned marriage counselor Serena Collyer (Scherzinger), whose cool demeanor hides a murderous and messy passion. Also, Teddy (Ben Levi Ross) sets a wedding date.
The episode numbers for the remaining two guest stars will be announced at a later date. Details on their characters can be found below.
Braun stars as Jeremy Perrick, the son of a famous American playwright who has spent his whole life in the shadow of his celebrated father.
Kirke stars as Winter Redgrave, the sleek CEO of a successful “lifestyle” brand whose world is perfectly curated until her sister threatens a corporate takeover.
Elsbeth is executive produced by Robert King, Michelle King, showrunner Jonathan Tolins, Erica Shelton Kodish, Bryan Goluboff, Gail Barringer, and Leah Nanako Winkler. CBS Studios produces the series.
Scherzinger won the 2025 Tony Award for her performance in Sunset Blvd and is best known as the frontwoman of the musical group The Pussycat Dolls. She can currently be seen as a judge on Fox’s The Masked Singer. Additional credits include playing Sina in Disney’s Moana and Moana 2, The X Factor (UK), Australia’s Got Talent, and Netflix’s Building the Band. Braun is best known for starring in HBO’s Succession, playing the fan-favorite character of Cousin Greg. For his work in the show’s four seasons, he received three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. In film, Braun appears in The Shitheads, which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by IFC this August. Also coming up this year, he stars in Ruben Ostlünd’s A24 film The Entertainment System is Down and A24’s Famous.
Anunoby is a British professional basketball player for the New York Knicks. During the 2025-26 season, he played a crucial role in helping lead New York to an NBA Cup championship and its first NBA Finals appearance in more than two decades. He is repped by CAA.
Kirke is a British-American actress best known for her portrayal of Jessa Johansson on Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls. She followed with a leading role in the Apple TV series City On Fire, Netflix’s Sex Education and Maniac, Conversation With Friends, and Life & Beth, both from Hulu. Her film credits include Dunham’s Tiny Furniture, Jeff Baena’s independent feature, The Little Hours, and Prime Video’s Sylvie’s Love. Kirke is repped by Paradigm Talent Agency.
