Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married and they have shared some intimate details about their wedding ceremony.
The power couple tied the knot with a ceremony inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday night (July 3) with actor Adam Sandler serving as the officiant. He’s a friend of the couple who worked with Travis on the Netflix movie Happy Gilmore 2.
The couple opted not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen during the wedding, but they did choose one person to stand next to them during the wedding – their siblings!
Austin Swift served as Taylor’s “man of honor”
Taylor‘s publicist confirmed in a statement that Austin was the “Man of Honor” during the ceremony.
Austin, 34, has a brief career in acting after studying film in college, but he now works as a member of Taylor‘s management team. In her docu-series about The Eras Tour, Taylor revealed how Austin was a big part of the tour and was there for all the big moments.
Austin also helped Taylor buy her music back. He and their mom Andrea Swift brokered the deal with Shamrock Capital.
“They sat down with Shamrock Capital and told them what this meant to me,” she said on New Heights. “They told them the whole story of all the times we’ve tried to buy it, of all the times it’s fallen through, all the times we had gotten plans together and figured out something we thought was gonna work and it didn’t at the last minute.”
Jason Kelce served as Travis’ “best man”
Travis obviously chose his brother, Jason Kelce, to be his “Best Man.”
Jason previously had a 13-year football career with the Philadelphia Eagles until his retirement in 2023. He now works as a sportscaster!
