Disney‘s shuffling of its communications team under new CEO Josh D’Amaro and his communications chief Paul Roeder continues.
On Friday, the company said that Nastasya Morauw, VP, Communications & Awards at Disney’s Searchlight Pictures, is moving to become VP, Communications at Walt Disney Studios. In the new role, she will be the primary comms lead for Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios.
The move comes after Roeder, who is Senior EVP and Chief Communications Officer at the Walt Disney Company, set his team earlier in the week. They include his direct reports David Jefferson, EVP, Communications; April Carretta, EVP, Communications; Carrie Brown, SVP, Internal Communications; and Mariana Vaca, Director, Communications.
With Vaca’s new role, Disney also said today that Shelby Cotten, most recently on the Direct-to-Consumer comms team, takes her spot as director, reporting to Morauw.
No replacement for Morauw’s role at Searchlight has been named.
