Laura Jackson is set to return as host of CNN‘s global culture show “Seasons” for four new episodes.
The British TV broadcaster and entrepreneur — who joined the show last year for its second instalment — will one again explore shifting trends shaping global culture across fashion, travel, food, technology, design and art. Jackson previously hosted an episode focusing on the art of slow luxury.
In the first of the new episodes, and across CNN’s digital and social platforms, Jackson will highlight the women the show claims are “redefining the luxury sector.” Interviews will include the actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who also serves as creative director of lab-grown diamond brand Astrea, Uruguayan-born designer Gabriela Hearst, Swarovski Group global creative director Giovanna Engelbert and interior designer Beata Heuman.
“I’m delighted to be returning to Seasons and to CNN,” said Jackson. “One of the things I love most about this series is the opportunity to discover the people, ideas, and places shaping the global conversation. These new episodes give me chance to continue that journey.”
Added Ryan Smith, executive director, CNN Global Productions: “We are thrilled to be working with Laura Jackson again as we continue to bring the stories of global trendsetters to CNN’s audience. Her ability to connect with people and uncover the narrative behind emerging trends has made her an integral part of the series, and we’re delighted to welcome her back.”
The first new episode will air on July 4 across CNN International, with further episodes later in the year.
