Fans of Kyle XY are about to get a major dose of nostalgia!
The cast of the beloved sci-fi drama is reuniting to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary, and they may have something special planned for longtime fans.
Matt Dallas, Jaimie Alexander, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, April Matson, and other members of the Kyle XY cast will come together for a live virtual event on Friday (June 26), exactly 20 years after the series first premiered on ABC Family in 2006.
According to the announcement, the cast will be sharing memories from the show, answering fan questions, and catching up with viewers two decades later.
“And yes… we may have a surprise in store,” the teaser reads, immediately sending fans into speculation mode.

The reunion comes just weeks after Jean-Luc sparked excitement online with a cryptic “Kyle XY… continued…?” post, leading many fans to wonder if a revival, sequel, movie, or continuation of the fan-favorite series could finally be on the horizon.
The show, which starred Matt Dallas as a mysterious teenage boy who wakes up in the woods with no memory (and no belly button) became one of ABC Family’s biggest early hits and developed a devoted fanbase during its three-season run. The series famously ended on a cliffhanger in 2009, leaving fans hoping for answers that never came.
Whether the surprise turns out to be a revival announcement or simply a special reunion moment, fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
The Kyle XY 20th anniversary celebration streams live on YouTube on Friday (June 26) at 12 p.m. PT.
