Olivia Culpo is giving people a peek at her birth plan.
As she enters her third trimester of pregnancy, the 34-year-old is opening up about the birth plan she has for welcoming baby No. 2 with husband Christian McCaffrey.
“The plan is I’m having a C-section because I had a C-section in July last year,” the model, mom to 12-month-old daughter Colette with the NFL star, explained in a July 23 TikTok. “So having a VBAC [Vaginal Birth After Cesarean] wasn’t an option.”
And this time around, she’s having to navigate the last few months of her pregnancy largely without her husband, who is in the middle of training camp with the San Francisco 49ers.
As for the birth, the couple—who married in June 2025—are working around the athlete’s schedule, ensuring that the running back gets to be there to welcome their baby too.
“I scheduled it on a day where Christian has a slightly easier [schedule],” the former Miss Universe shared. “Basically, it’s on an off day for him, so he’ll be able to come just for the birth. And then aside from that, he’ll have to go back. So it’s gonna be different than my first birth."
Even though McCaffrey can’t stay for long, Culpo won’t be alone. In fact, she expressed gratitude for all of their loved ones who will be assisting her through her recovery.
“I’m grateful for my village,” she said, cheekily adding, “and large security detail team.”
The Culpo Sisters alum first revealed her latest pregnancy on her 34th birthday on May 8, showing off her bump in an Instagram post captioned, “Best birthday gift.”
Since beginning to grow their family, Culpo has been candid about her adjustment to motherhood, noting that the journey has been both “scary” and “fun.”
"Every day is so different and I'm really just trying to sit in because I know it goes by so fast,” she said on an October 2025 episode of The Squeeze podcast. “Everybody says these are the days that go by quicker than you could have ever imagined."

In honor of his 30th birthday in June 2026, McCaffrey shared this hilarious photo o himself and Colette napping on a plane.
"Thankful for another lap around the sun," he wrote on Instagram. "I love my family and friends."
The couple took Colette to Disneyland during her first hoiday season.

One week after announcing she gave birth in 2025, Culpo shared an adorable time-lapse video of her baby bump, which ended with a shot of her cuddling her and McCaffrey's little one.
The model and her tiny tot proved they are a winning duo by sporting matching fluffy brown robes after Colette's birth.
Olivia and Christian—who tied the knot in June 2024—weren't the only ones excited to welcome a new addition to the family.
Shortly after Colette's arrival, the model shared several clips of her pup Oliver proving he was thrilled for their family's new addition, including one of the trio taking a nap together in bed.

Olivia felt lucky that her mom Susan Curran stepped in to help her with baby Colette as she adjusted to the first month of her motherhood journey.
The former Miss Universe said of her kiddo's grandma on Instagram at the time, "I can only hope to be as good as her."
Colette got some much-needed rest while cuddling in her mom's arms on a cozy armchair.
