EXCLUSIVE: Scottish stand-up Connor Burns has announced that his next special, Gallus, will begin streaming exclusively on Gorilla Comedy+ on Aug. 3.
The special debuts on YouTube and Prime Video on Sept. 1. It marks Burns’ second hour and second collaboration with 800 Pound Gorilla, which previously released his debut special, Vertigo.
No word on what Burns discusses in Gallus, which in Scots dialect means “bold, daring and reckless.” He taped the special at King’s Theatre in Glasgow earlier this year. Marking his fourth solo tour, the show has been a hit internationally, breaking Glasgow Comedy Festival box office records, selling out extensive UK and Australian tours plus a New York run Off-Broadway, and winning him a Forth Fringe Award.
A rising star in the UK comedy scene, Burns shot to prominence with his debut solo show Vertigo, selling over 10,000 tickets at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival ahead of the tour’s official on-sale. The tour spanned 40 dates across the UK and Burns expanded the run with eight more shows due to high demand.
You can catch Burns on tour this fall with his new show, Flow.
