Violet Grohl has announced an extra headline show in London for her upcoming tour due to high demand.
The Los Angeles-based musician and daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl released her debut solo album âBe Sweet To Meâ last week (May 29) via Aurora Records, including the singles âTHUMâ, âApplefishâ, â595â and âCool Buzzâ.
In April, she announced a string of headline US, UK and European headline tour dates, including a show in Londonâs Camden Assembly, but now she has confirmed she will play two dates at the venue due to outstanding demand.
Her UK dates will now kick off in Manchesterâs Deaf Institute on August 25, followed by Glasgowâs King Tuts the following night, and two nights at the Camdem Assembly on September 1 and 2.
While in Europe, she also plays shows in Berlin, Cologne and Paris, and will also make appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals, Electric Picnic in Ireland and Pukkelpop in Belgium.

Grohl said earlier this year that she didnât like male musicians her age.
âI donât like male musicians my age â I donât care,â she said. âThey have attitude problems. Theyâve been saying this about us for so fucking long â itâs time that they sit down, be quiet and play their music.
âThe best advice Iâve been given is that itâs OK to say no or that you donât want to do something,â she continued. âFor a lot of women, it took them a really long time to accept and implement that into their lives. Itâs inspiring to be around the kinds of people who donât give a fuck and will say whatever they feel.â
Meanwhile, father Dave Grohl revealed several months ago that he had âno ideaâ Violet had signed a record deal until she told him at dinner.
