EXCLUSIVE: Scott Adkins (The Rip) action-thriller Irish Dog has pre-sold ahead of its projected fall shoot.

The film has been acquired for German-speaking Europe by Tiberius Film, Eastern Europe by MediaSquad, MENA territories by Front Row Filmed Entertainment, Italy by Plaion Pictures, and India and SAARC territories by Dimension Pictures. Italy’s Iuvit Media Sales brokered the deals out of the Cannes market.

Action vet and martial artist Adkins, who has recently starred in The Rip and John Wick Chapter 4, will star as Martin, “a London nightclub bouncer who reluctantly agrees to accompany an old friend on a trip to Spain. What begins as a chance to escape the routine of his everyday life quickly spirals into a dangerous gathering of powerful criminals, old enemies, and unresolved loyalties. Far from the streets of London and under the sun of the Spanish coast, Martin finds himself pulled back toward a violent world he has fought desperately to leave behind.”

Jesse V. Johnson (Chief Of Station), who has worked with Adkins on multiple movies, is directing and scripting. Release is aimed at Q3, 2027.

Pic is being produced by Roger Corbi at Fishcorb Films in association with Dean Fisher at Scanner Rhodes, with Hicham Benkirane at HBK F.C. serving as executive producer along with Lance Kawas and Ahmed Boomrod.

Iuvit’s sales slate also includes action-sci-fi April X with Connor Storrie and Lilly Krug, and action crime film Red Stick Hoods starring Stephen Dorff, Kevin Dillon and Jake Cannavale.
