EXCLUSIVE: Paradigm has laid off three agents: Jeff Kolodny, Adam Van Dusen, and Natalie Handelsman.
Both Kolodny and Handelsman are talent agents — Kolodny, the more senior of the two, as someone who spent the last 15 years at Paradigm. He joined in 2011 after three years as a manager at Luber Roklin, prior to that spending 17 years at William Morris, where he was a VP in the talent department.
Handelsman was a homegrown agent who started out as a talent assistant at Paradigm in May 2019 before elevating to coordinator, and eventually, agent, a role she’s held since 2022.
Van Dusen is a TV Lit agent who came to Paradigm in March 2025 after more than a decade spent at Gersh.
Sources close to Paradigm characterized the layoffs as selective adjustments made as the organization continues to expand, having just recently hired eight in multiple areas. Three of those hires are part of a newly established Physical Production department, which represents a significant investment in a growing area of client service and an important strategic initiative for the company, including Gil Harari & Jonathan Silverman, who returned to Paradigm after working there earlier in their careers. We just announced Michael Kirschner as joining that division earlier today.
Other recent hires include Chase Northington (TV Lit), Sara Nestor (MP Lit) and Vivianne Telio (MP Lit) from Verve, Dan Baron (talent agent) from IAG, and Elizabeth Wiederseim (talent agent) from WME. Paradigm’s process of hiring new agents is ongoing.
