Corey Feldman has been hospitalized after a medical emergency.
According to TMZ, the 54-year-old Stand By Me actor was on a flight to Los Angeles from Chicago on Monday afternoon (June 15) when paramedics met him at the gate at LAX after his plane landed.
Sources told the outlet that he was feeling sick on the flight and a doctor on board believed he might have pancreatitis, inflammation, or gallstones. When the Los Angeles Fire Department was at the airport, a spokeswoman said he was being transported to a hospital for further evaluation.
Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas, which is a vital organ used to digest food and regulate blood sugar. An inflamed pancreas can lead to pain and changes in how the organ functions, per the Mayo Clinic.
TMZ has said he is still undergoing tests.
Corey had been in the Midwest at a Stand By Me Live Tour in Chicago and had also posted about paying a visit to Michael Jackson‘s family home in Gary, Indiana.
“ON THE WAY DRIVING THRU GARY INDIANA, WE JUST HAD 2 QUICKLY STOP N PAY #RESPECT 2 THE GR8EST ENTERTAINMENT FAMILY IN MUSIC HISTORY. @thejacksons FAMILY HOME ON 2300 JACKSON ST IN GARY,” he wrote on Instagram.
Earlier this year, Corey spoke about not being included in the Rob Reiner tribute at the 2026 Oscars.
