Company also set to launch Unsaid, a biweekly Substack newsletter
“Girls, Disrupted,” the podcast hosted by reality star Georgia Hassarati and influencer Isabel Timerman, is joining the family at Alex Cooper’s Gen Z-focused media company, Unwell.
The duo will return with their first “Girls, Disrupted” episode under the Unwell umbrella Tuesday, June 16, across YouTube and all major podcast platforms. New episodes will drop weekly every Tuesday. Season 1 of Hassarati and Timerman’s show ran from October 2025 through May 2026.
“Girls, Disrupted” is hyped as “the ultimate survival guide for the modern era, tackling everything from sleazy first dates and flaky friends to the existential dread of social media… From reality TV secrets and high-profile dating drama to the gritty realities of NYC living, nothing is off-limits.”
The deal for “Girls, Disrupted” comes after recent news about Cooper’s alleged feud with Alix Earle, whose “Hot Mess” podcast was dropped by Unwell earlier this year. In 2024, Cooper signed a multiyear deal with SiriusXM, encompassing ad sales, distribution and more. Other podcasts in the Unwell portfolio include Cooper’s hugely popular “Call Her Daddy,” as well as Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile “Not Married to This,” “Extra Dirty” with Hallie Batchelder,” “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele” and “Pretty Lonely” with Madeline Argy.
Hassarati and Timerman have a combined social media following of over 3 million. Timerman is known for her internet persona “Isabel Unhinged” while Hassrati gained fame for her appearances on Netflix’s “Too Hot to Handle” and “Perfect Match” dating shows. The podcast has already cultivated a highly engaged community across major platforms, building on the duo’s combined digital footprint of over three million followers.
According to Unwell, the acquisition of “Girls, Disrupted” brings together “a community-first network and two creators who already feel like your internet best friends, creating a destination where everyday chaos is fully validated.”
“Georgia and Isabel have that raw, rare, effortless dynamic where no topic is too taboo or too unserious,” said Joanne Bradford, president at Unwell. “By bringing their sharp wit and magnetic energy to the network, we are continuing to build the definitive destination for creators who speak directly to the Gen Z experience. For Unwell, it’s about meeting listeners exactly where they are with the authentic perspectives they are already looking for every single day.”
Timerman also has been tapped to write for Unsaid, a biweekly newsletter Unwell is launching on Substack on June 11. Each “volume” of the newsletter is “built around writers we’re actively obsessed with — our favorite Substack authors, the media personalities whose articles we can’t stop screenshotting, and the influencers whose captions are poetry.”
Writers for Unsaid volume one include: Ariel LaFond (The post-grad moving guide nobody gave you); Dia Lipo (How to lip combo your way to the Gen Z pout); Vivian Chen (Your heels-on-the-ground Euro summer fashion report); Isabel Unhinged (Against my better judgment, I’m moving in with my boyfriend); and Tom Smyth (What is summer for if not seeing every single Bravo DJ?).
