EXCLUSIVE: Any diehard Nate Bargatze fan should be familiar with his magician-comedian father, Stephen Bargatze, who’s often served as his opener. But those unfamiliar can get acquainted via Out in a Minute, the elder Bargatze’s debut magic special, which premieres on Nateland Entertainment’s YouTube page just ahead of Father’s Day weekend, this Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. PT.
Taped at the Franklin Theatre in Tennessee, Out in a Minute blends old-school illusions, quick-witted crowd work, and deeply personal stories from a lifetime in show business. From classic tricks he performed during his Opryland days to one final stunt his family wishes he’d retire, Stephen turns the evening into a celebration of comedy, magic, and the wonderfully unique journey that helped shape the Bargatze family.
Mike Lavin directed the hour and produced alongside Jason Nower and John Sheridan, with Nate Bargatze, Derek Bargatze, Abigail Bargatze, and Adrian Kulp exec producing. Nateland Entertainment is the production company.
Stephen Bargatze has spent over four decades entertaining audiences across theaters, comedy clubs, corporate events, and venues of every size. Known for his unique blend of clean comedy, storytelling, and magic, he’s an International Brotherhood of Magicians Champion, a two-time Comedy Award winner, and an International Brotherhood of Magicians-First Place Close Up Award Winner.
