EXCLUSIVE: Banijay is closing All3Media International’s New York office, a move that will see a new round of layoffs followings its mega-merger with the British production group.

It marks the latest move by the companies behind The Traitors, Big Brother and Peaky Blinders after they completed the merger that created the $8B entity known as Banijay Entertainment.

The move will see the departure of a handful of executives – Deadline understands that it’s in the single digits – including All3Media International’s EVP, Americas Jennifer Askin.

Askin was only promoted a year ago; after joining All3Media from Kew Media Distribution in 2021, she was upped to EVP following the departure of Sally Habbershaw in August 2025.

All3Media International distributes series including Fleabag, Race Across The World, Ocean with David Attenborough, The Circle and The Traitors.

Askin has been behind deals including this week’s sale of Gemma Arterton drama series Secret Service to MGM+, thriller Gone and Trigger Point to BritBox, Midsomer Murders and Brokenwood Mysteries to Acorn TV and Race Across the World to PBS. She also worked closely with Canada’s Bell Media on a local dual-language production of The Traitors.

Askin sent a note to colleagues informing them that the New York branch would be closing on Friday, August 28 and “all the roles located in this office have been made redundant.”

“Our team is grateful for such a run. It has been such a privilege to work with such top-notch content and talented producers, and with such loyal, incredible clients across the Americas region. We thank you so much for your collaboration, partnership and trust,” she added.

In a statement to Deadline, she added, “I am very grateful for the fantastic five years I had at All3Media International.  I have really loved leading our Americas team – a very committed and dedicated group of executives – and I am also very appreciative of the support and collaboration of our many incredible clients across this significant region.  I would like to thank all of them, as well as the leadership of All3Media, for what has truly been a career highlight.”

Jane Turton, Deputy CEO, Banijay Entertainment added, “Jen has been an integral part of our sales team during her five years with All3Media International, most recently as our EVP Americas.  She has done an extensive amount of business throughout the Americas region during this time.  Jen is a much-admired leader and a great colleague with huge warmth, drive and commitment. I want to thank her for her significant contribution to the All3Media business and wish her the best with what comes next.”
