Victoria Beckham has been photographed “back in the studio”, seemingly recording vocals for a song by her son, Cruz.
The 21-year-old, who has been releasing music and hitting the road alongside his band The Breakers, shared the update on social media yesterday (Monday September 28).
On instagram, he posted an image of himself in the studio with his mum stood behind him, wearing headphones, singing into a microphone and seemingly reciting lyrics from a phone.
He also shared a caption that read: “yeah we got posh back in the studio ;)”, and Victoria simply shared a handful of laughing emojis in the comment section – neither confirming nor denying that she will be featured on the upcoming song.

The photo of Cruz being back in the studio comes after he and The Breakers played a half-hour set at Reading Festival’s Canopy stage at Little John’s Farm earlier this summer – with David and Victoria Beckham watching from the sidelines.
He and his band released their eight-track debut EP ‘Wear & Tear’ on August 21. He launched his music career last year with the double A-side ‘Optics’ and ‘Lick The Toad’, before sharing the singles ‘For Your Love’ and ‘Waste Your Pain’.
Since then, he has joined The Kooks during their headline set at Rock N Roll Circus Norwich, playing guitar and sharing vocals with Luke Pritchard on ‘Jackie Big Tits’.
Pritchard previously revealed that he had been writing songs with Cruz, praising his musical taste and response to criticism surrounding his famous family. “It was great when he said, ‘Jesus was a nepo baby too’,” he said. “I thought that was quite a funny response.”
Next, he will be joining The Reytons on tour, and frontman Jonny Yerrell has previously described Cruz as “an incredibly talented artist who deserves to be recognised outside the family name” (via Contact Music).
As for Victoria Beckham, the appearance of her in the studio comes as there has been much discussion about a potential Spice Girls comeback in recent years, particularly as 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic British girl group.
The last time all five members performed together publicly was at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012, although they also gave a surprise performance of ‘Stop’ at Posh’s 50th birthday party in 2024.
They also went on a reunion tour in 2019, although Beckham was not a part of that line-up.
Mel C (Sporty Spice) has fanned the flames of a 30th anniversary reunion – saying that she was “manifesting” a slot at Glastonbury in the near future, revealing last year that all five members “want to do something”, and performing live with Mel B (Scary Spice) last week. Last year, Mel C said again that she was “optimistic” that the iconic girl group would reunite, and Beckham also got fans talking when she shared a “tempting” desire to do a Spice Girls stadium tour after attending Oasis’ mammoth comeback tour.
As for the other members, Halliwell-Horner teased that “there will be something” with Beckham in the fold in the future, and Mel B that she was “always game” when it came to hitting the road with the group again.
The latter two then seemed to go back on their respective comments, with Scary Spice saying recently that she was certain a reunion is “not happening” and feels like it would be already taking place if it were possible, and Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice) dismissing hopes for a Glastonbury slot in 2024.
Beckham has more recently hinted that she is open to do an ABBA Voyage-style hologram show.
