SoundCloud and Twitch announce the launch of SoundCloud Sessions, a collaborative effort enabling DJs to reach new audiences across both platforms.

This week, Twitch and SoundCloud announced the launch of SoundCloud Sessions, a collaborative partnership focused on helping DJs reach new audiences and increase their visibility across both platforms. The performance series aims to combine Twitch’s live music community with SoundCloud’s global discovery platform, starting with performances from artists like Conrad Taylor, Ken Dollaz, and Jessu.

“Together, SoundCloud Sessions creates a new pathway for DJ discovery by connecting Twitch’s live music audience with the DJs and emerging scenes that call SoundCloud home,” reads a statement.

“By coupling Twitch’s live digital stage with SoundCloud’s native discovery ecosystem, SoundCloud Sessions brings the energy of a live performance straight to the screen, equipping emerging DJs to scale their presence far beyond the physical room,” said Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud. “We’re transforming raw, live moments into digital discovery, and building on the timeless foundation of DJ culture—which has always been about discovery, community, and what’s next.”

SoundCloud Sessions will see DJs across the globe go live on Twitch to reach audiences and a broader music community beyond SoundCloud alone. Fans can discover artists in real time and engage directly with communities built on shared musical interests and experiences. Top participants will become eligible for additional promotional opportunities and future activations across both platforms.

An all-day event dedicated to DJs on Twitch, SoundCloud Sessions kicks off on June 26 starting at 9 AM PT. DJs who want to participate must ensure they are enrolled in the Twitch DJ program and that their SoundCoud profile is linked to their Twitch bio.

Beyond its partnership with Twitch, SoundCloud has put in the work to help creators continue to grow relationships with music enthusiasts worldwide. According to the company’s latest Music Intelligence Report, electronic music remains one of SoundCloud’s fastest-growing genres worldwide, with a 39% increase year over year. More niche scenes like hard techno and UK garage continue to build bustling communities through direct creator engagement.
