EXCLUSIVE: Sean Woods has launched Intangible, his own management and production company based in Los Angeles.Woods’ Intangible will rep writers, directors, actors and the creative voices that bridge traditional media and the evolving landscape of storytelling. He comes to the launch after nearly eight years as a manager/producer at Fourward.“There has never been a more exciting time to be a storyteller. And it’s never been more competitive,” Woods observed in a statement to Deadline. “Intangible is built to identify and champion talent, create momentum, and amplify singular voices and stories, regardless of medium.”Clients who have joined Woods at Intangible include Brendan McCarthy (Grace and Frankie), who along with Alex Kavallierou and Marta Kauffman’s Okay Goodnight, is developing the family drama Six Days to Sunday for HBO Max; Chidi Ajufo, who recently wrapped a role alongside Kristen Stewart & Wagner Moura in the A24 vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods; Angela Bourassa (If You Were the Last), who has a novella releasing later this year through 831 Stories; Teresa Sutherland (Lovely, Dark, and Deep), who has set up an original script at Screen Gems; and Polly Bennett (The Crown), a director, movement director and choreographer who is currently working across the Beatles biopics from Sam Mendes.Prior to his time at Fourward, Woods spent six years as a manager/producer at Roar. On the production front, his credits include producing the genre-bending rom-com If You Were the Last, starring Anthony Mackie and Zoë Chao, which premiered at SXSW, and exec producing HBO Max’s unscripted series Flip the Strip.
