The long-running reality competition is marking its 25th anniversary with a special airing tonight (September 29) on CBS.
The Amazing Race: 25 Years Around the World will look back at some of the show’s most memorable moments ahead of Season 39’s premiere on Wednesday (September 30).

Nischelle Turner, co-host of Entertainment Tonight, will host the anniversary special.
What Will Be Featured?
The special will include memorable moments from the Entertainment Tonight vault, never-before-seen footage and new interviews.
It will also take viewers behind the scenes of the challenges, destinations and contestants that helped define the series over the last 25 years.
Host and executive producer Phil Keoghan will reflect on the show’s history and share stories from its travels around the world.
Other guests include co-creator and executive producer Elise Doganieri, plus several former racers and winners.

When Does The Amazing Race Season 39 Premiere?
Season 39 kicks off with a special two-night premiere beginning Wednesday, September 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Part two airs Thursday, October 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, before the show moves into its regular Wednesday time period on October 7.
The new season begins in Vancouver, Canada and features 13 Express Passes, marking a first for the franchise.
