Kai Cenat is making a comeback to what he’s known for!

The 24-year-old YouTuber and streamer took a step back from content creation and streaming to focus on other projects, such as his clothing brand Vivet.

In early June, Kai started teasing his comeback with a video, and on Saturday (July 4), officially revealed the return of Streamer University, with a date and time of his first stream back.

“Streamer University official reveal stream July 6th at 8pm EST be there,” he wrote on Instagram in all caps.

He also shared the news on X/Twitter, with a follow-up post, saying, “Missed yall”

Streamer University first started last year, where he held a three-day-long event, selecting 120 content creators to “have the opportunity to showcase their personalities and brand and meet other creators.”

The event featured other content creators as professors, serving as mentors to the 120 selectees.

Back in January, Kai shared a YouTube video titled “I Quit,” where he opened up about stepping away from what he’s known for to focus on his clothing brand, take a break from the grueling schedule of streaming, and more.

“A lot of the times I am boxed into this box of being a streamer. So, this is one of the first times where I’m going to display something outside of my primary category,” he says in the video.

“Usually, the times I’ve achieved so much, and I’ve been able to knock down goals I always wanted to do and my mindset in my head, it’s like a lot of self-doubt,” Kai added later. “I’m not even depressed. I’m not sad. It’s just for some reason I’m having like a lot of self-doubt because it’s out of fear of stepping back from what I’m primarily known for, which is content creation and pursuing in another goal.”
