100 years after their debut performance at the Hollywood Bowl, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square returned to Los Angeles’ iconic venue for their “Songs of Hope” benefit concert.
The concert raised money to help women and children around the world, with 100% of ticket sale revenues donated to charities including CARE, Helen Keller Intl, and The Hunger Project.
Donny Osmond, Katharine McPhee, David Foster, Tony winner Stephanie J. Block, Sebastian Arcelus, and The Bonner Family served as special guest artists for the concert, all performing music that fit the theme of the night.
Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus served as hosts of the concert
Married couple Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus, who have starred together in Broadway’s Wicked and Into the Woods, popped up throughout the night as hosts, narrators, and performers.
Stephanie soared with a performance of the song “The Story Goes On” from the musical Baby, which premiered on Broadway in 1983 and has become a cult classic across the past 40+ years. She also joined Sebastian for a duet of “It Takes Two” from Into the Woods, which they performed in both on Broadway and on the national tour.
“When I was waiting in the wings, I was listening to Sebastian talk about the women who envisioned this place and it just made me think that I truly believe this was their dream come true. They created all of this to lift others and I think that’s what’s happening here tonight,” Stephanie said on stage.

Katharine McPhee and David Foster returned to the Hollywood Bowl, where they’ve performed together multiple times in the past, including at his 75th birthday concert in November 2024.
David introduced their first song, “The Prayer,” which he wrote for the movie Quest for Camelot. It was recorded by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion and went on to receive an Oscar nomination. Katharine performed the song alongside rising star Daniel Emmet.
Katharine then performed the song “Somewhere” from West Side Story.

He began with his original song “Start Again,” then performed two songs from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and wrapped up with “I Am a Child of God” accompanied by a group of 80 children.
Throughout the show, the Tabernacle Choir performed songs like “Hallelujah” and other hymns.
