In tandem with R&B Hip-Hop Week, Billboard has announced Billboard House — a series of industry panels — taking place in NYC on Sept. 9. Panels will include in-depth conversations with The Roots and Jill Scott. Presented by Better Health, a “Like Minded” panel is set to feature R&B titan Kehlani alongside rising rapper Monaleo.
Following the release of Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux’s PROLIFIC, which debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200, Billboard will sit down with Nipsey’s brother, Blacc Sam, and Bino to talk all things Hussle and ensuring that the marathon continues following the L.A. rap dignitary’s passing in 2019.
Billboard House will also feature a performance from emerging singer-songwriter LAILA!. The 20-year-old teamed up with Teezo Touchdown for “ANGEL,” which arrived on Aug. 14. Continuing the R&B Hip-Hop Week festivities, the R&B Hip-Hop Live 2026 concert has added talented R&B singer kwn to the lineup, which also boasts Lucky Daye and “Spend Dat” rapper Yung Miami as well as rising stars Samara Cyn, Skippa and Destin Conrad.
“Billboard has always been at the epicenter of music and culture,” said Mike Van, CEO of Billboard. “As hip-hop, R&B and Caribbean music continue to shape culture around the world, we’re committed to championing the emerging voices, generational artists and passionate fans driving these genres forward.”
Sponsored by Rotation, Amazon Music’s R&B and hip-hop division, tickets are currently on sale for the Sept. 10 show at Brooklyn Steel.
